Chilling video shows screaming woman begging for help at stranger’s house before being kidnapped
Chilling doorbell footage caught a terrified woman begging for help at a stranger’s front door just moments before a bearded man came up and kidnapped her, police said.
The horrifying footage showed the woman crying out as she frantically pounded on the front door of a home in Hillsboro, Oregon, late Sunday.
“Please help me,” she could be heard screaming, as she repeatedly glanced behind her.
The suspect then ran up behind, grabbed hold of the frantic woman and bundled her into a white pickup truck, the video shows.
Police immediately released the footage in a bid to track down the suspect and victim.
The woman was found safe and the man — who hasn’t been identified — was arrested and charged with kidnapping in the early hours of Tuesday, cops said.
“The suspect and victim knew each other and this was not a random attack. There is no danger to the public,” police said in a statement, without detailing exactly how they knew each other.
Meanwhile, the woman who owned the doorbell camera told KGW8 that she didn’t recognize either of them.
“She looked scared,” said the homeowner, identified only as Marisol.
“In her voice, you could tell she was frantic, and she needed help, and the way she grabbed onto the door in the video when you see it, that is like, not normal.”
