Bridget Moynahan posted a curious message about “loyal people” on social media Monday, hours after her ex-boyfriend, Tom Brady, was mercilessly roasted on Netflix over the fallout of their highly publicized split.
In a re-share from retired wrestler Gail Kim-Irvine, the Instagram message reads: “Loyal people take s–t more personal because they never would’ve done that s–t to you.”
Moynahan, 53, added, “So true,” in the post’s caption.
Moynahan’s post comes on the heels of Sunday’s “Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” where the seven-time Super Bowl champion was mocked about personal life, namely his breakup with Moynahan, who revealed she was pregnant with Brady’s child after their 2006 split.
“But seriously, Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long. You retired, then you came back and then you retired again, I get it, it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend it’s tough,” comedian Nikki Glaser said during Sunday’s roast.
“Hey, to be fair, he didn’t know she was pregnant, he just thought she was getting fat.”
Brady, 46, was first linked to Moynahan in 2004 with the couple calling it quits in late 2006. He then began dating supermodel Gisele Bündchen, whom he later wed in 2009.
Moynahan co-parents son Jack, 16, with Brady, while the quarterback has son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, with Bündchen, 43.
Brady and Bündchen confirmed in October 2022 that they had finalized their divorce after 13 years of marriage.
The former quarterback’s relationship with Bündchen was also brought up at the roast.
“Hey look, buddy, you have more rings than I do, but I’ve experienced a couple of things that you will never experience: the feeling of being the No. 1 overall draft pick in the NFL, and a 28th wedding anniversary. It was yesterday,” Brady’s former Patriots teammate Drew Bledsoe said on stage.
Bündchen has since moved on with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente.
