Dana White wanted more time at the GOAT roast.
The UFC boss appeared at Netflix’s roast of Tom Brady in Los Angeles on Sunday, and wound up bashing the streaming service for apparently giving him a limited amount of time on the microphone.
“It pisses me off. I flew all the way out here, and you guys give me 60 seconds? My name is Dana. Is that not trans enough for you liberal f–ks?” White said on the live special.
White is likely kidding about any animosity toward Netflix, which is rumored as a potential rights partner with UFC when the MMA promotion’s deal expires with ESPN next year.
WWE, which is under the Endeavor-controlled TKO umbrella with UFC, will be migrating “Raw” from USA Network to Netflix in its next deal.
His joke about Netflix came with a grin on his face.
White, who grew up in the Boston area and is a Patriots fan, then got into his roast of Brady.
“Tom, you played for the Patriots for so long I was actually starting to feel like you were from Boston. Then I saw you running and I was like, no, he’s definitely from San Francisco,” White quipped.
“You led the league for 20 years in passing, as a straight guy.”
Elsewhere in the roast, standup comedian Nikki Glaser mocked Brady for breaking up with actress Bridget Moynahan while she was pregnant.
“But seriously, Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long. You retired, then you came back and then you retired again, I get it, it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend, it’s tough,” Glaser said.
Warning: Graphic language
Kim Kardashian got booed by the theater audience, and Brady did not appear to be enamored with a joke from comedian Jeff Ross about Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s massage parlor imbroglio.
