The LA home that Matthew Perry purchased months before his death lists for $5.19M

The late “Friends” star Matthew Perry’s mid-century abode in Los Angeles has hit the market for $5.19 million, according to a report in Domain.

Perry, renowned for his role as Chandler Bing in the iconic sitcom, snagged the property last June for nearly $5 million under an LLC named after Alvy Singer — Woody Allen’s character in “Annie Hall,” mirroring his trust’s moniker — several months before his death. Despite owning this for nearly five months, Perry, 54, never moved in.

Situated snugly in the Hollywood Hills, this three-bedroom gem, described as a “sleek mid-century treasure,” boasts elegance and sophistication.

Spanning more than 2,500 square feet, the single-story residence envelops a sun-drenched patio, marrying vintage charm with modern opulence.

The interior showcases hardwood floors, a dual-sided fireplace, an updated kitchen, both formal and informal dining areas, and a convenient laundry room.

Among the three bedrooms, the primary suite stands out with a spacious walk-in closet, while one room doubles as a screening area.

Outdoors, the central patio beckons with a sparkling pool and a firepit.

Greg Holcomb and Tim Durkovic of Douglas Elliman hold the listing and declined to comment for this story.

Perry was discovered unconscious in the hot tub at his Pacific Palisades residence on Oct. 28, 2023, and was declared deceased at 4:17 p.m. Perry’s cause of death was determined to be due to “acute effects of ketamine,” while contributing factors included “drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine” — which is used to treat opioid use disorder, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner.

His untimely demise left a void in Hollywood. Beyond his unforgettable role in “Friends,” he left an indelible mark with standout performances in movies such as “The Whole Nine Yards” and “17 Again.”
