Ben Affleck moved his belongings out of his shared mansion with Jennifer Lopez when she was away in Europe, a source told People in a story published Friday.
“Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He’s been there for about two months now,” another source says. “He seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids.”
Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, have not officially announced that they’ve split.
But, this is the latest report in a string of updates about their marriage.
“Bennifer,” as dubbed by the press, was initially together from 2002 to 2004. After their first split, they went on to marry and have kids with Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, respectively.
They reunited in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022, sharing a blended family of five kids. Affleck shares Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner, 52, while Lopez is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Anthony.
For the past few months, reports have increasingly said that they’re on the rocks.
The rumors began in early May, when J.Lo attended the 2024 Met Gala without her husband. Soon after, Affleck was reported to be staying at a separate house from Lopez.
Lopez was also seen house hunting, without Affleck.
InTouch reported that Lopez and the “Gone Girl” actor are in therapy to work on their marital issues.
“Ben believes in therapy, to a point, and is willing to be a good sport about participating with an open mind, even though he hates the whole humiliating process,” a source told the outlet.
Earlier this month, the couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion was listed on Zillow.
Affleck has reportedly “come to his senses.”
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” an insider told Page Six in May. “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
Most recently, Lopez was spotted looking happy and relaxed as she jetted off to Positano, Italy, on vacation — without Affleck. She was photographed taking several photos of herself and her famous derrière as she rocked a $99 white one-piece Gooseberry bathing suit on a boat.
”It’s possible that Jennifer’s trip to Italy is allowing her some time and space to reflect on her marriage and what she wants for her future,” relationship expert Louella Alderson told the Mirror earlier this month.
Nevertheless, Lopez still gave him a social media shout-out on Father’s Day, calling him her “hero.”
Despite the reports, they’ve continued to put up a united front as the “Selena” star also attended her stepson Samuel’s middle school graduation ceremony – albeit, arriving separately from Affleck.
The pop star also grabbed lunch with her stepdaughter Violet earlier in June.
