Dustin Johnson celebrated his milestone 40th birthday in epic fashion.
The two-time major champion was treated to a cowboy-themed birthday bash, complete with acoustic sets and fireworks, as captured in a new Instagram video posted Thursday by Johnson’s wife, Paulina Gretzky.
Gretzky, the daughter of NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, paired her corset top and shorts with a cowboy hat and boots while Johnson — who turned 40 on June 22 — opted for a white button-down shirt, jeans and a cowboy hat, a style emulated by the couple’s two sons, Tatum and River.
Johnson could be seen embracing Gretzky, 35, by a dazzling fireworks display, while the guest of honor was also treated to a tiered cake boasting sparklers.
“Can we go back,” Gretzky’s pal, Kristina Melnichenko, commented on the post, which was set to Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
Gretzky and Johnson wed in 2022 following their 2013 engagement.
Before the LIV Golf pro’s birthday festivities this month, the couple took in a round of golf with Wayne and pal Travis Kelce, according to photos of the starry outing posted on Gretzky’s Instagram page.
Johnson, the 2016 U.S. Open winner and the 2020 Masters champion, has endured a recent rough stretch.
In this month’s U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2, Johnson missed the cut after shooting a 9-over par in the opening rounds. He also tied for 43rd at the PGA Championship in May at Valhalla Golf Club.
Johnson tied for 51st last week at LIV Golf’s Nashville event after shooting a 4-over par.
He joined the Saudi-backed circuit in 2022 for a reported $125 million.
Johnson can potentially turn things around next month when LIV travels to Spain and the U.K. before the Open Championship at Royal Troon.
