I’m a car salesman — here are the three new vehicles you should not buy

Steer clear.

Keshawn, a car salesman and content creator, claims that there are three new vehicles on the market you should avoid purchasing.

“Avoid these new cars and get something else and save your money,” the TikToker, who goes by @lifewithkey_, asserted in a now-viral video.

In the 70-second clip, posted on June 28, he explained why a Dodge Hornet, a Chevrolet Malibu and Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid should be avoided at the showroom.

Keshawn bluntly described the Dodge Hornet, which he considers an “raggedy ass” vehicle.

He alleged that there have been reports of electrical issues similar to most Jeeps, such as “dasher’s randomly going blank” and a cruise control function that “never works.”

The Dodge Hornet starts around $32,995, according to Car and Driver.

Another “wack” vehicle, according to Keshawn, is the Chevrolet Malibu due to several features that allegedly do not operate efficiently.

“I’m driving one right now as a rental and the Apple CarPlay system keeps glitching out, the automatic light system keeps not working and this thing is extremely underpowered,” he claimed.

The TikToker said he struggled to merge on the freeway due to the car’s low-powered system.

“I’d stay away from it. There’s really no reason to buy it. Get something different. Save your money,” he admitted of the pricey $26,195.

Keshawn concluded his car-critique clip by explaining why the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is a driving red flag.

“I’ve been telling you guys the Chrysler Pacifica is not a good vehicle, but they made a Hybrid and made it even worse,” the car salesman sassed.

He claimed that the car, which starts at $52,460, often has a failing battery, which many people are unsure if the battery is a problem or a software issue.

“You’re better off driving this car into the Pacific Ocean,” he quipped. “I’d be pissed if I had all my kids in the car and the battery stopped working.”

A few watchers admitted to the troubles they’ve endured with their cars.

“The back door on the driver’s side of my 2020 Chevy Malibu won’t unlock or open at times. It’s a pain. My CarPlay also glitches at times, too,” one TikToker alleged.

Another said the Dodge Hornet’s cruise control gives them the same issues Keshawn mentioned.

“The cruise control is a bit finicky. You have to double tap it to stay at the speed and if you don’t it limits you to that speed,” the Dodge driver described.

Meanwhile, loyal Chrysler, Chevrolet and Dodge drivers disagree with Keshawn’s reviews of the popular cars.

“I have a 2018 Chevy Malibu and she’s been nothing but good to me,” wrote one woman.

“The Pacifica and Malibu RS or Premier are such nice cars, though,” added another.

“Not the Chevy Malibu I have a 2023 and my baby does exactly what it needs to do the premium package,” one satisfied customer cheered.
