‘Girls’ star Jemima Kirke wants $2.67M for her wonderfully colorful Brooklyn townhouse

It might be in Red Hook, but Jemima Kirke’s townhouse is all about the color pink.

Known as the ultimate boho-chic “cool girl,” Kirke, the British-American artist and actress, has listed her Brooklyn home for $2.67 million.

Now a mother of two, Kirke got her start in her friend Lena Dunham’s “Girls,” the cult HBO hit that launched in 2012, playing Jessa Johansson. Kirke’s siblings are also in show business. Domino Kirke, an actress and singer, is married to Penn Badgley of “You” fame and, formerly, “Gossip Girl.” Jemima’s younger sister is the actress Lola Kirke.

The 25-foot-wide, three-story home was built in 1910. At 2,382 square feet, it comes with five bedrooms, 3½ baths and a renovated eat-in chef’s kitchen, along with a woodburning brick fireplace, hardwood floors, wood-beamed ceilings and lots of exposed brick.

Charming details include a woodburning stove encased in brick in the living room and a rear garage/studio/workshop.

There’s even a clawfoot tub in one of the bedrooms and a walk-in closet in the main bedroom suite.

The delightful home is infused with bold colors as well as soothing blues and minty greens, perhaps to mellow out the various shades of pink.

There’s also a deck off the open kitchen/dining area, a front garden and a backyard, too.

The turnkey residence is filled with light thanks to oversize windows and triple exposures.

Kirke bought the home for $1.99 million via an LLC, Elvis Inn, in 2018.

The sellers were writer John Marciano and Andromache Chalfant, an artist and set designer for theater and opera, who bought it for $755,000 in 2008, according to property records.

The listing broker is Orren Azani of Compass.
