Christina Hall ‘moving forward’ with new HGTV show without ex Josh after split: report
Christina Hall (née Haack) is keeping the keys to her HGTV kingdom.
The reality star, 41, is reportedly filming her new show, “The Flip Off,” without estranged husband Josh Hall after they filed for divorce from each other this week.
The competition series, announced in May, was supposed to see Haack and Hall, 43, face off with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, and El Moussa’s current wife, “Selling Sunset” alum Heather Rae El Moussa (née Young).
However, things have reportedly changed following the breakup.
“They are in production of ‘The Flip Off’ without Josh,” a source told Us Weekly Wednesday. “They’re moving forward with the show without him.”
The source also claimed Haack and Hall’s split after almost three years of marriage was not “sudden.”
They said the exes “have had issues for a while.”
The Post has reached out to HGTV for comment.
Haack and Hall each filed paperwork to end their marriage earlier this week. Haack listed their date of separation as July 7, while Hall listed it as July 8.
According to the documents, Hall has requested spousal support and for the “Christina on the Coast” star to pay his legal fees. Haack asked the court not to award alimony to either party, reported Us.
Hall also reportedly wants the rights to any HGTV-Discovery Network shows that he and Haack produced together during their marriage.
Since the split, Hall removed Haack and her children from his Instagram bio, while Haack stepped out without her wedding ring.
Haack has two children, daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8, with El Moussa, 42. She also shares son Hudson, 4, with her second husband, British car specialist Ant Anstead.
The mom of three secretly married Hall on Oct. 6, 2021. They had a bigger oceanfront ceremony in Maui, Hawaii, during Labor Day Weekend 2022.
During their marriage, she had Hall make small appearances on her HGTV shows “Christina on the Coast” and “Christina in the Country.”
In May, HGTV announced the Halls and El Moussas would star in “The Flip Off.” The show, expected to premiere in 2025, marks Haack and El Moussa’s first time working together since “Flip or Flop” ended in March 2022.
Haack spoke to Us last summer about the project.
“We’re working together just, like, hand in hand and discovering what that dynamic is and looks like,” she said. “I mean, it’s never easy to work with a spouse so we’re just really discovering.”
“I’m used to being the boss of everything, especially when it comes to design,” added Haack. “This is a whole new dynamic for us and it’s gonna be interesting how it plays out.”
Haack was married to El Moussa from 2009 to 2018.
El Moussa wrote in his memoir that their marriage ended in drama. After a heated argument, he hopped the fence in their backyard to go on a hike and brought a gun with him for protection. Haack then called the cops.
According to El Moussa, he wanted to exercise and scout the trails near their house. He said that he brought along a gun because they lived near Chino Hills State Park, California, which is a hotbed of mountain lions and bobcats.
“The best thing that happened to me in my life, and the worst thing, was her leaving,” El Moussa said in an interview with E! News in February about his divorce from Haack.
“Because it forced me to completely rebuild my life,” he added.
