The third time’s the challenge for Brittany Mahomes.
On Tuesday, the soon-to-be mother of three shared a natural selfie on her Instagram story, where she sported a hoodie and a messy bun, and opened up about the challenges she’s faced during her current pregnancy.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie wrote: “Good morning just me and my skin that’s losing it’s mind…”
“This pregnancy has been the hardest on me…sickness, exhaustion, and now skin!” the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes wrote.
“Got an amazing facial this morning in hopes of help,” she added with a praying emoji.
She added a follow-up story with an Owyn protein shake in hand, writing “@liveowny refueling me,” alluding to her pregnancy-related exhaustion.
The Kansas City signal-caller and his wife announced they were adding a third member to the Mahomes clan with a wholesome Instagram post on July 12.
“Round three, here we come,” they captioned the post, which featured their daughter Sterling Sky, 3, running around with sonogram photos while holding hands with her little brother, Bronze, 1.
The couple revealed the sex of their upcoming addition on Friday, with their daughter Sterling Skye playing a fun game of tic-tac-toe to help announce the news that baby No. 3 will be a girl.
The top row, marked with three pink X’s, was celebrated with pink smoke, confetti and joyful cheers.
Included in the post was a photo of Sterling Skye holding a “big sister” flag.
“You Guys Soooo We Really Gettin Us a 3peat This year Yaaaaaayyy,” one user commented on the post, referring to Kansas City’s back-to-back Super Bowl wins in 2023 and 2024 with a chance at a third title in 2025.
In a Spring 2023 Instagram Q&A, Brittany, who co-owns the NWSL’s Kansas City Current with Patrick, admitted she had a supportive staff that helps the family running.
“Yes, I have help,” she said with a crying laughing emoji. “And I’m very thankful for it! Chef, nanny, a virtual assistant lol, and our security team.”
The three-time MVP and the Chiefs will kick off preseason on Aug. 10 against the Jaguars, with regular season play beginning on Sep. 5 against the Ravens.
The high school sweethearts began dating 12 years ago and tied the knot in Hawaii in March 2022.
