Steve Harvey repeats racy ‘Celebrity Family Feud’ answer he’s never said before
Anything goes on “Family Feud.”
Steve Harvey repeated a racy answer that he said he’s never uttered before on Tuesday’s episode of “Celebrity Family Feud.”
Chris Daughtry and his bandmates faced off against the members of Papa Roach, answering several survey questions asked by Harvey, 67.
One of the questions was: “Name something specific Mrs. Peanut might threaten to do to Mr. Peanut when she gets angry.”
Team Papa Roach guessed an answer with higher points, giving them control of the round.
When it was drummer Tony Palermo’s turn, he said, “Break his nuts.”
As the audience laughed, Harvey shook his head and said, “My man.”
The host then fist bumped Palermo, 54.
“That’s what I love about the band,” said Harvey. “They have that real good humor.”
Harvey went on, “Never be able to say this on TV until now.”
He then screamed Palermo’s raunchy guess — which turned out to be incorrect.
“I don’t know how the hell that ain’t up there,” Harvey replied. “That’s such a well thought-out answer.”
Team Papa Roach got three of the top six answers on the board, but Team Daughtry won the round after they got the chance to steal.
Team Daughtry ultimately won the game and $25,000 for their choice of charity, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Daughtry’s stepdaughter Hannah Price died by suicide at age 25 in November 2021.
Price was under the influence of narcotics and had a history of mental health struggles.
“I lost my mom to cancer, and then exactly one week later I lost my daughter to suicide,” Daughtry, 44, said during an interview with fellow “American Idol” alum Kelly Clarkson on her talk show in June 2022.
“I dealt with both differently, processed both losses very differently — the common denominator in both is the guilt,” he continued. “The ‘I wish I would have said this. I wish I would’ve done this. I wish I would’ve called more.'”
Daughtry formed his rock band in 2006. They posted on Instagram about their appearance on “Celebrity Family Feud” before the episode aired.
“IT ALL GOES DOWN TONIGHT!!!” the band said. “We’re going head to head against our boys in @paparoach on @familyfeudabc all in support of @afspnational.”
“Who you got???” they added.
Season 11 of “Celebrity Family Feud” kicked off on July 9.
This season’s famous contestants include Megan Thee Stallion, Ne-Yo, Meghan Trainor, Tori Kelly, Robin Thicke, Anthony Anderson and former “Golden Bachelor” couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist.
