Biden’s latest idiotic Israel bash is exactly why Iran wants Kamala Harris to beat Trump
Yet again, President Biden took precisely the wrong position when he bashed Israel for taking out Hamas’ leader, Ismail Haniyeh.
Asked if asked if Haniyeh’s assassination ruined the chances for a cease-fire agreement in Gaza, the prez said, “It doesn’t help.”
Is he for real?
Would any normal American have said taking out Osama bin Laden after 9/11 was inflammatory and jeopardized peace with al Qaeda?
(Then again, Biden did oppose the US mission to kill the 9/11 terror chief. Pathetic.)
Fact is, if Israel had a chance to eliminate the head of the terror group responsible for the Oct. 7 horrors, Ismail Haniyeh, it would’ve been nuts to pass it up.
That is precisely what you do to murderous terrorists like Haniyeh.
And that’s the answer Biden should’ve given.
And by the way, killing Hamas’ leader should only increase the group’s desire for a cease-fire.
Remember, Haniyeh’s death came as Israel confirmed that it had wiped out the group’s military leader in Gaza, Mohammed Deif. Israel is destroying Hamas, piece by piece.
Of course the group would be more likely to agree to some sort of truce, if only to buy time before all its members are wiped out or forced to surrender.
Yet whether for political reasons or a cowardly fear of escalation, Biden has failed to support Israel fully and has instead looked to appease Hamas.
He’s also appeased its chief sponsor, Iran, easing off sanctions enforcement and OKing funding for it.
When Iran fired more than 300 rockets, missiles and attack drones at Israel, Team Biden-Harris warned Jerusalem not to respond.
He lets Iran get away with funding anti-Israel protesters who wreak havoc in America.
He even allowed its proxies to attack US bases in the Middle East, killing three US soldiers, with near impunity.
And make no mistake: Vice President Kamala Harris is fully onboard with that program.
No wonder Iran seems to be pushing to stop Donald Trump from winning in November. It fears him more than Harris.
New US intelligence suggests Iran is actively working — surreptitiously, via online influence operations — to undermine Trump’s candidacy.
US spy agencies have “observed Tehran working to influence the presidential election, probably because Iranian leaders want to avoid an outcome they perceive would increase tensions with the United States,” an official with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence said.
Tehran perceives correctly: Trump would would surely push back against it. As president, he took a tough line against Iran, withdrawing from the disastrous, pro-Iran 2015 nuclear deal and reimposing sanctions that slowed the Iranian economy.

He also ordered the assassination of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force leader Qassem Soleimani, one of the most powerful men in the regime.
Iran’s leaders want to him back in the White House much like people look forward to root canals.
All of which explains why Iranian agents are waging covert online influence operations to hurt Trump, just as they did in 2020.
It also explains the recent Iranian plot to assassinate the ex-prez.
Given all the horrors Iran has caused, voters should pray for a president who’ll fight back.
Tehran just let voters know which candidate it thinks will do that.
