Hulk Hogan asks bar crowd if he should ‘body slam’ Kamala Harris, questions her racial identity
Hulk Hogan asked a raucous crowd if he should body slam Vice President Kamala Harris at a packed bar Monday night while questioning whether she was Indian, according to newly obtained footage.
The WWE legend and staunch Trump supporter appeared to blame alcohol on the inflammatory remarks he made at the Thirsty Cowboy in Ohio while promoting his new beer, TMZ reported.
As he revved up the bar crowd during a speech from the stage, Hogan veered into politics and made the Democratic nominee for president the butt of his jokes.
“Want me to body slam somebody? You want me to body slam Kamala Harris?” he asked the cheering crowd, according to the video obtained by TMZ. “I said, ‘Do you want me to body slam Kamala Harris?’”
“You want me to drop a leg on Kamala?” he then said in reference to one of his old wrestling moves. “Is Kamala a chameleon? Is she Indian?”
Harris, 59, is biracial. She’s the daughter of a Jamaican-American father and Indian-American mother.
Hogan then appeared to make the stereotypical and outdated greeting connected to Native Americans on the stage but quickly tried to backtrack as he realized that might get him in some trouble.
“I’m gonna get heat for that one, brother,” Hogan said on stage. “That was not me, that was the beer talking.”
A rep for Hogan did not immediately return a request for comment. He also has not addressed the remarks on social media.
Hogan, who is known to stir controversy, spoke at the Republican National Convention last month in support of former President Donald Trump, capping off his speech by ripping off his shirt to unveil a Trump-Vance tank top.
