Sabrina Carpenter locks lips with Jenna Ortega in bloody, over-the-top ‘Taste’ music video

Sabrina Carpenter’s latest music video has us screaming for more.

The singer released her sixth studio album, “Short ‘n’ Sweet,” on Friday, along with the music video for her single “Taste,” featuring “Wednesday” actress Jenna Ortega.

The track follows Carpenter discovering her ex is back with his old flame (Ortega), and a bloody battle between the two vixens ensues.

“I heard you’re back together and if that’s true/ You’ll just have to taste me when he’s kissin’ you,” the 25-year-old belts in the chorus. “If you want forever, I bet you do/ Just know you’ll taste me too.”

The music video shows Carpenter sneaking up on Ortega to attack her with a knife before realizing the “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” star isn’t snug in bed after all.

Ortega, 21, is ready to go, entering the bedroom with a shotgun and blasting the songstress over a balcony.

Later in the video, Carpenter channels her inner “Psycho,” storming into the bathroom to confront the actress and the mystery man in the shower.

Despite Ortega successfully chopping off her competition’s arm, Carpenter vows she’ll be back.

A blood-shedding fight occurs between the leading ladies before it takes an unexpected turn, and the young Hollywood starlets share a passionate kiss.

In the end — SPOILER alert — the boyfriend (played by “Halloween” actor Rohan Campbell) ends up being the one to die, leaving Carpenter and Ortega to attend his funeral together, becoming friends, and walking off while drinking milkshakes.

Fans flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts, with one viewer writing, “the kiss, the outfits, the plot, omg I think we’ve found ourselves a winner you guys.” A second user said, “i didn’t know sabrina was into horror, but her making a horror music video with horror princess jenna is iconic as hell.”

Horror fans everywhere rejoiced, with one follower commenting, “As a horror film fan, I adore all the iconic references!! Also, we can’t ignore how iconic it was to have our current scream queen, Jenna Ortega, in the mv. LOVED IT!”

Carpenter told “Variety” earlier this month that “Short ‘n’ Sweet” is “the hot older sister” of her previous album, “Emails I Can’t Send.”

“It’s my second ‘big girl’ album,” she gushed. “It’s a companion but it’s not the same. When it comes to having full creative control and being a full-fledged adult, I would consider this a sophomore album.”

As for the inspiration behind the sound on Carpenter’s most recent body of work? As she put it, “I love the faces of the ’60s and ’90s — old Hollywood, flirty and fun. This is definitely the vibe of my album.”

The hitmaker feels that keeping the songs under wraps until the album was out was the right choice.

“I’m so happy I finished this album before any of the songs came out,” Carpenter told the outlet. “Not that I think I would have let [the singles’ success] get in my head. But I really do think sometimes you can’t help but write from a different perspective after experiencing certain life events. I’m trying to avoid calling this ‘my dream album,’ because I don’t think I would have been able to dream up this set of songs a couple years ago.”

Meanwhile, Carpenter is set to take her music on the road.

The Sweet ‘n’ Sour tour will kick off its North American leg on Sept. 23 in Columbus, Ohio, before hitting the UK and Europe in 2025.
