Jennifer Lopez rocked a couple of rocks while relaxing before looking for a new block in LA.
The “I’m Real” singer, 55, was photographed outside a day spa not far from the famed Rodeo Drive on Wednesday, September 4, wearing a couple of rings on her left hand, including one on her wedding finger, shortly before she toured a $27 million Beverly Hills mansion currently for sale.
It’s unclear whether the ring was Jenny from the Block’s platinum wedding band that her estranged husband, Ben Affleck, 52, gave her when the pair said “I do” in 2022, but it does not appear to be her engagement ring.
J.Lo filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, the second anniversary of the couple’s second wedding ceremony.
Lopez arrived at the posh spa at 11 a.m. and was back on the road by 11:40 a.m. She was then seen outside the Beverly Hills residence, which she toured a little after noon. She reportedly spent 35 minutes inside the home before returning to her white Land Rover and leaving.
The property has 8 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms in a whopping 14,720 square feet, according to TMZ.
Though eye-watering, the house pales in comparison to the $68 million, 38,000 square foot, 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom mega-mansion she and Affleck purchased in 2023.
The once-happy couple put that house on the market in July as whispers of their impending divorce grew louder. The property – which isn’t far from the $27 million prospect J.Lo just scouted – has sat on the market for over a month, seemingly without much interest.
Affleck purchased a $20.5 Brentwood bachelor pad within weeks of his and Lopez’s former love nest hitting the market. The actor didn’t move into his new place immediately; instead, opting to transition into a rental home in the same neighborhood.
Shortly after Ben found his next homestead, it was rumored that Lopez was seeking a bachelor(ette) pad of her own. With her divorce process officially underway, it seems she’s been able to turn her focus to house hunting as she builds her new life without Affleck.
Lopez submitted her divorce petition herself, without an attorney, according to court docs. The couple allegedly did not have a prenup, which puts all their property holdings – not just the ones they purchased together – up for grabs. The “Marry Me” singer reportedly declared that her assets were “unknown” to her in her filing.
Lopez and Affleck’s lack of prenup means there’s potential for things to “get ugly,” according to a new report.
There’s also been speculation that the couple could lose up to $25 million on the sale of their former Beverly Hills home. One real estate investor recently said the house – currently listed for $68 million – is in the $40 to $50 million range.
