Ben Affleck’s ‘crazy’ cousin labeled a ‘narcissist’ on ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’
Drama runs in the Affleck family.
Ben Affleck’s cousin, Zac Affleck, and his wife, MomTok influencer Jennifer Affleck, star on the new Hulu show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” where their marital issues are on full display.
During Episode 7, Zac, 28, flips out when Jen, 25, and the rest of MomTok go to a Chippendales show on their girls trip to Las Vegas.
Jen leaves the show and gets reprimanded by Zac over text. He goes as far as telling his wife she has “no values or morals.”
After Jen leaves the house at 2 a.m. to see Zac, the rest of the girls rant about him.
Demi Engemann, who saw the texts between the couple, calls Zac a “narcissist” and “crazy.” She claims Zac told Jen that he doesn’t love her anymore because she went to the Chippendales show.
Later that night, the girls, sans Jen, go out to dinner and reveal Zac has a habit of gambling, which is forbidden by the Mormon church.
Jen eventually reunites with the group and addresses the drama with Zac. She acknowledges he’s “in the wrong” and “has narcissistic traits about him” that “come out every few months.”
However, Jen tells her friends that despite their concerns she’s standing by her man.
She did the same in her exclusive interview with The Post.
“That was really hard because I think they were genuinely concerned and I don’t blame them because what had happened to me was very concerning,” Jen said.
“It definitely forced me to take a step back and look at my relationship and view it as imperfect, because I think a lot of the time being LDS you like to pretend that your relationship is perfect and that everything is okay, and sometimes it’s not and that’s okay.”
“So yeah, having them as my support during that time really helped me and I’m actually grateful for it,” the mom of two went on. “I don’t know if everyone’s intentions were right during that time, and it will be interesting to look back on the show and see what everyone said when I wasn’t there versus when I was there.”
Jen added: “But as of right now, I feel like everyone was on my side and supported me for the most part. But I hope they still support me moving forward with my personal decisions and what I think is right for me.”
The influencer also told The Post that Ben, 52, is Zac’s dad’s second cousin, but they’ve only met once.
Jen dropped another bomb: she was named after Jennifer Lopez — who is in the process of changing her name back from Jennifer Affleck amid her divorce from Ben.
“I was named after J.Lo because my mom was obsessed with J.Lo,” she shared. “Jennifer Lynn Lopez, my name is Jennifer Lynn Affleck. I’m like, okay, Jenny from the block is here.”
