‘Park Slope Prowler’ who allegedly groped at least 4 women captured in Brooklyn: police
The alleged serial groper dubbed the “Park Slope Prowler” for his late-night assaults on women around Brooklyn’s Prospect Park was captured Thursday afternoon, police said.
William Nuesi, 23, was arrested and hit with a slew of charges after he allegedly crept up behind at least four different women and grabbed their buttocks in separate incidents between June 25 and August 14, authorities said.
Nuesi allegedly fled into the night following each of the creepy exploits and was at large until this week.
The NYPD initially sounded the alarm over the alleged perv last month, releasing images of the suspect who carried out the attacks within an eight-block radius of Prospect Park after the sun went down.
Nuesi, who lives about a half-mile from the northern edge of the park, was charged with four counts of forcible touching and four counts of second-degree harassment, police said.
He remained silent as he was led out of a Brooklyn police station Thursday afternoon and was ushered into a police car.
The ages of the four victims were between 32 and 41 years old, according to authorities.
One victim told The Post last week she’s lost all sense of security and is afraid to walk alone after 7:30 p.m.
“I used to feel safe in this neighborhood and enjoyed evening walks after work to get some fresh air,” said the 32-year-old woman of the Aug. 13 groping.
