Ex-Patriots fullback Patrick Pass arrested after allegedly shoving 82-year-old man in gym

Former Patriots fullback Patrick Pass was arrested Wednesday in Rhode Island after allegedly assaulting an 82-year-old man at a gym.

Pass, 46, and the unidentified man allegedly got into an argument over exercise equipment at a Planet Fitness gym in North Providence before Pass shoved the victim into the floor in late August, according to multiple reports.

The 82-year-old reportedly sustained injuries to his back, per multiple reports.

According to court records viewed by The Post, was charged on Wednesday with assaulting a man over 60 years of age causing bodily injury (felony) and disorderly conduct (misdemeanor).

Pass was given $10,000 personal recognizance and was ordered not to have contact with the victim, per records.

Selected one round after Tom Brady in the 2000 NFL Draft, Pass was part of Patriots teams that won three Super Bowls.

The fullback rushed for 526 yards over eight seasons in the NFL, recording three rushing touchdowns and one score through the air.

He set career highs in 2005 with 245 yards rushing and 227 yards receiving.

He joined the Giants in 2007, playing one regular-season game for the team that upset the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

In 2023, as a coach with the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League, Pass was suspended indefinitely by the league after a wild brawl saw players jump into the stands during a game with the Arizona Rattlers.
