‘Diabetes in a cup!’ Dunkin worker reveals most ‘absurd’ drink he’s ever made — here’s what’s in it

He’s dunkin’ on this drink order.

A Dunkin employee in Illinois has revealed one of the most “absurd” beverages he has ever made, dubbing the sugar-laden concoction “diabetes in a cup.”

Connor Duandivier recorded himself making the drink for an unidentified customer that consists of 10 caramel pumps, 15 helpings of sugar, and another 15 of cream.

After taking to TikTok to show the strain that came with making such a bizarre request, he specifically noted the minuscule amount of actual java being put into the iced cup.

“Just about an ounce of coffee,” Duandivier, who shares several odd and fun orders on his TikTok page Dunkinbandits, said in his video viewed almost three million times.

A regular Dunkin drink that features two pumps of caramel usually totals about 100 calories, according to MyNetDiary.

So, Duandivier’s drink is raking in 500 calories in caramel alone. And, according to EatThisNotThat! a cold brew with standard cream and sugar already contains 27 grams of the sweet stuff.

Duandivier was quick to call the special order “diabetes in a cup” and that he was going to “pray for the customer.”

And, very quickly, the internet went wild with what they saw.

“AN OUNCE OF COFFEE?!” one commented, stunned by the lack of caffeine in the drink.

“And I get embarrassed with my 4 pumps vanilla… ” another added.

However, some justified the seemingly shocking order, saying there was a method to the madness.

“This is what I do at the beginning of each week,” wrote one person. “I order 1 drink and then add [a small amount of it] it to my cold brew at home and it lasts all week and I’m saving my money.”

“This is definitely getting added to cold brew for the week,” a fellow supporter chimed in. “Smart!”
