Rihanna’s former NYC penthouse, and two others in the same building, to hit the auction block

Rihanna’s former New York penthouse and two others in the same building that have lingered on and off the market — sometimes for more than a decade — are turning to price-slashed auctions to try and seal the deal.

On Nov. 13, these three Midtown aeries once asking $50 million — and formerly home, over the years, to Rihanna, French Montana and former New York Yankees star Rougned “Rougie” Odor — will be auctioned with a minimum reserve bid of $30 million.

The auction, for the units at the Cassa Hotel and Residences at 70 W. 45th St., was first reported by Mansion Global. They have been on and off the market since 2011. The stars themselves resided in their respective units separately between 2013 and 2021.

The units can also be purchased separately with a reserve bid of between $10 million and $12 million apiece. If combined, they’d create an 8,000-square-foot triplex — but they come with no outdoor space.

Misha Haghani, founder and CEO of Paramount Realty USA, is auctioning the residences with Corcoran’s Sebastian Lopera.

The units are on floors 45 through 47, with an additional room on the 48th floor that be used as an office, a gym or a studio. All together, the units include 13 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and three powder rooms. The seller is Assa Properties, which developed the building in 2010.

In addition, on Oct. 30, a separate four-story penthouse with a hot tub and an outdoor kitchen that was once asking $6 million will be auctioned with a $4 million reserve. That sale — from Paramount Realty in association with Wendy Maitland’s Atelier — is at 16 Warren and owned by developer Michael Marvisi.

The 3,381-square-foot residence features three bedrooms — including a main bedroom suite that takes up a full floor — along with 3½ baths, 14-foot ceilings, city views, high ceilings, walnut floors and a chef’s kitchen. It was asking $6 million in 2021. The six-story building dates to 2006.

Finally, a Times Square penthouse triplex once asking an astonishing $21 million in 2015 will be auctioned on Nov. 20 by Paramount Realty and Alta Real Estate’s Rick Kelly with a reserve price of $7 million.

Designed by Costas Kondylis in 2008, the 4,335-square-foot, four-bedroom unit at 247 W. 46th St. comes with four baths, two powder rooms, a fireplace, water views and a 160-square-foot terrace. Design details include two floating staircases and 25-foot, double-height ceilings, along with floor-to-ceiling corner windows, a wet bar and two crystal chandeliers. The lower-level guest suite comes with a private entrance.

The seller is Dr. Paul Boskind, a psychologist, an author and a Tony Award-winning producer who lived in the penthouse triplex while producing shows on Broadway. He also owns a 14th-century castle in Ireland that is not for auction.
