Keith Olbermann makes incredibly crass comment after claims RFK Jr. wanted to ‘possess and impregnate’ ex Olivia Nuzzi
Former MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann has crassly responded to an explosive court filing by Olivia Nuzzi’s ex that alleged Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wanted to “possess,” “control” and “impregnate” her.
Olbermann, who dated Nuzzi a decade ago when she was 21 and he was 55, replied on X to The New York Post’s story Tuesday night about the claims with “same” and the shrug emoji.
In the new filing, Ryan Lizza said his ex-fiancee Nuzzi described RFK as a “70-year-old ‘sex addict’ who told her he wanted to ‘possess,’ ‘control,’ and ‘impregnate’ her.”
She further said the affair was “toxic, unhealthy, stupid, psychotic, crazy, indefensible” and claimed that RFK Jr. had manipulated her due to the “huge power disparity,” he claimed in the court docs filed in Washington, DC’s Superior Court last week.
Nuzzi’s team has disputed Lizza’s claims and RFK Jr. denied that the documents were an accurate depiction of their sexting tryst.
The TV personality who hosts the “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” podcast, had been tweeting about Nuzzi, but not mentioning that they had a relationship until after The Post contacted him last month.
He previously said that the May-December couple had a “surprisingly mundane” life together, and even got a dog together — as well as tattoos.
Nuzzi — New York magazine’s star Washington correspondent — reportedly started sexting with Kennedy shortly after she featured the then-independent presidential candidate in the magazine last year.
Sources allege she was the pursuer, despite other reports claiming the fling started after Kennedy grabbed her hand while hiking for the profile piece.
She allegedly sent the Kennedy scion “demure nudes” and the two even had “incredible” sex over FaceTime, a source exclusively told Page Six — with Nuzzi relaying that Kennedy’s sexual stamina was impressive.
Kennedy has previously said he and Nuzzi met only once.
In the latest filing between the resentful exes — which came in response to a no-contact order that Nuzzi filed against Lizza in which she claimed that he harassed and blackmailed her over the affair and hacked her devices — Lizza painted his former fiancee as a lost and heartbroken lover who desperately tried to save their engagement after he dumped her.
Lizza, 50, also alleged that this was not the first time Nuzzi cheated on him — previously jeopardizing a joint book deal over an affair in 2020.
He said he broke off their engagement in August after he confronted Nuzzi, 31, when he learned that she had been carrying on with RFK Jr. for nearly a year, according to the filing.
Lizza — Politico’s chief Washington correspondent who is currently on leave from the hugely popular Playbook newsletter — denied that he leaked the relationship to Nuzzi’s editor and the press and refuted her allegations of hacking.
He claimed that everything he learned of the affair with Kennedy came from Nuzzi’s own tearful admissions as she tried to get back together with him, according to the filing.
Nuzzi begged Lizza to rekindle the relationship several times after the breakup in desperate text messages where she claimed to be “so lonely,” “lost” and “heartbroken,” according to the filing, but Nuzzi alleged in her court filing against Lizza earlier this month that he orchestrated her fall from grace at New York magazine.
Nuzzi has been on leave from the glossy publication since the affair went public in September.
