Elon Musk expected to join Trump to watch presidential results come in

WEST PALM BEACH — Elon Musk will be by Donald Trump’s side as the election results come in, a person familiar with the matter confirmed to The Post.

The richest man in the world will likely be with Trump at both Mar-a-Lago and the Palm Beach Convention Center, with the former president expected to greet supporters at the latter location at some point Tuesday evening.

The 45th president will be watching the results roll in with exclusive guests who were invited to a slate of parties ranging in exclusivity, The New York Times reported. Musk will be among the small group of people sitting with Trump in anticipation of the results, per the outlet.

Musk, 53, joined Trump at the Oct. 5 rally in Butler, Pa., where the Republican nominee symbolically completed an event that was interrupted by an assassination attempt July 13.

Acting as a lead-in for the former president, Musk urged Americans to register to vote and famously declared himself “dark MAGA” from the stage to raucous audience applause.

“President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America,” he told the crowd at the time.

The Tesla, SpaceX and xAI CEO’s newfound admiration for the 45th president follows a lengthy track record of supporting Democratic candidates — including voting for Barack Obama in both 2008 and 2012.

Musk has also been putting his money where his mouth is — literally — orchestrating an attention-grabbing giveaway of $1 million per day to registered swing state voters who signed his petition in support of the First and Second Amendments.

Those eligible for the life-changing prize money must reside in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania or Wisconsin, which are all considered pivotal states in the 2024 contest.

Since Oct. 19, Musk has spent $16 million of his vast fortune on the giveaway, which rankled Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner to the point that he attempted to block the billionaire’s largesse, claiming it amounted to an illegal lottery.

However, Judge Angelo Foglietta denied the DA’s petition decision after Musk attorney Chris Gober told the court that the recipients are not selected by chance.
