Louis Vuitton dog collection debuts — including $60K kennel, poo bag dispenser and leather water bowl
Man’s best friend has some expensive taste.
Louis Vuitton is giving dogs a taste of luxury with its latest $60,000 dog house, which is designed with a monogram-coated canvas exterior.
Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director, transformed the “Kennel Trunk” from a conventional hard-sided case into a doghouse even owners wouldn’t mind lounging in.
The luxury item creates the illusion of a house with a pointed roof and windows for pooches to peep through.
However, designers have ensured the product’s functionality when it comes to cleaning, with a removable door and the bottom of the trunk that can be opened as well.
It’s not the ordinary kennel many hounds are used to, especially with the cowhide-leather trim, Vuittonite lining, gold-toned hardware, double handle, and S-lock closure.
The upscaled dog houses can also receive hot stamping and painting services in stores to personalize the patch in the metallic name card holder.
Williams’ collection, “LVers,” which is set to be unveiled in Spring or Summer 2025, focuses on the “cosmopolitan culture of dogs and their walkers,” the site reveals.
The collection features a dog poop bag holder, which costs $470, a Louis Vuitton flask holder, at $2,330, and a $2,160 leather dog bowl, allowing man’s best friend to keep up with their owner’s city life looks.
Designer fanatics are placing orders and gawking over luxury dog items under Louis Vuitton’s Instagram posts.
“My yorkie Louie would love that harness,” one person commented.
“As a show-quality hound owner I’m loving this campaign so much!” added another.
“We need more dog clothes,” pleaded a dog mom.
Customers can get their paws on the high-end dog house and other items in store or by contacting Louis Vuitton’s concierge service.
