On Tuesday, the Team USA gymnastics “Golden Girls” took home the gold medal in the women’s gymnastics team final at the 2024 Olympics; today, Simone Biles and Sunisa Lee will compete in the women’s all-around final.
It marks the first time in women’s gymnastics history that two Olympic all-around champions will compete against each other in an Olympic all-around final. Biles won the all-around in 2016, while Lee is the defending gold medalist from Toyko 2020. Team USA gymnastics have won the all-around final at every Summer Olympics since Athens 2004.

The final has four rotations, one for each event; Biles and Lee are part of the same group and will begin their rotations on the vault, before moving onto uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise in that order.
